The leading telecom operator in the country Airtel started to offer 5G service in India from October last year when India adopted the next generation connectivity. The Airtel 5G Plus Service is currently in the beta stage and Airtel has promised to offer its high speed 5G service across the country by the end of the first quarter of 2024.
Airtel has now officially announced that it has launched its high speed 5G service in another 125 cities in the country. It is also confirmed that the Airtel 5G service is now live in 265 cities across the country.
Airtel is actually offering its 5G service on non standalone network which means it is using its 4G infrastructure to offer the 5G service in the country.
