The newly announced Amazfit Active 2 sports a 1.32-inch circular AMOLED display with 466 x 466 pixels resolution and a 353ppi pixel density. It also comes with sapphire glass version and a standard version with 2.5D tempered glass with anti-fingerprint coating.
It also comes with a BioTracker 6.0 PPG biosensor which offers more precise heart rate and sleep cycle monitoring. The device also supports blood-oxygen saturation, stress level, and skin temperature 24 hours along with readiness scores and insights. The device also offers various health reminders including abnormally high and low heart rates, low blood oxygen and high stress levels. The device will prompt users to perform stress-reducing breathing exercises and track menstrual cycles as well.
The latest Amazfit Active 2 comes with 164 preset workout modes including HYROX Race and smart Strength Training modes. The device supports Zepp Coach, Zepp App, and third-party apps like Strava, Adidas Running, Google Fit, Apple Health and more. The watch also features a 5 ATM rating for water resistance. It also comes with Bluetooth 5.2, BLE, five satellite positioning systems and circularly polarised antenna technology for connectivity. The device offers 10 days of battery life in typical usage.
Regarding the pricing and availability, the device has a price tag of $99 for silicone strap version while the genuine leather strap model has a prize tag of $129.99. It is available in the markets of the United States.
