Amazon entered into the gaming world the last year with the announcement of a cloud-based gaming service called the Amazon Luna and the same is limited to a small amount of users but this scenario is going to change very soon.
The company has announced that the gaming service will be available to the Amazon Prime users and the same will be available with a trial of seven days and the users can able to play without spending a single amount of money for the 7 days.
After the trial period, users will have to pay $5.99 per month to continue the service, and the Amazon Luna is still only available in the US.
It is also said that the Luna Controller, which launched alongside the game streaming service last year for $49.99, and the same is now discounted by 30%.
Everything about the Amazon Luna
The latest gaming service features different channels that will allow you to subscribe and the same will give access to different content. The service is also coming with the main Luna+ channel, and that is currently in early access, and includes titles like Resident Evil 7, Control, Panzer Dragoon, A Plague Tale: Innocence, The Surge 2, Yooka-Laylee and The Impossible Lair, Iconoclasts, GRID, ABZU, and Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons.
It is worth to mention that the subscribers to this channel will be able to play at 1080p 60fps right now with 4K support. The same is offered at $6 a month during the early access period and will get more games in the future.
The company has also made available a channel dedicated to Ubisoft and the same will give access to existing and upcoming Ubisoft titles, such as Assassins Creed Valhalla, Far Cry 6, and Immortals Fenyx Rising and it will available on the same day they release. Having said that, the selected titles will be available in their ultimate edition with DLC.
As we know Amazon also owns Twitch and that’s why the Amazon Luna users would be able to access Twitch streams for available games. Speaking about the compatibility, the latest Amazon Luna will support fire TV stick along with PC, iPhone, and iPad using web apps. Android users need to wait for a couple of weeks to get the latest service on the board.
You guys can able to play the games using keyboard, mouse, or a Bluetooth controller and the company will also offer its own Luna Controller and the same will connect directly to the cloud through Wi-Fi. The Luna Controller will be available for $50 during the early access period.
