Snapdragon 888 processor is powering the flagship Smartphones of this year and recently we came across a report that suggested the successor of the flagship processor is in the works and now the important specifications of the upcoming flagship Snapdragon processor surfaced online and that could be the Snapdragon 888 Plus processor.
According to the reliable tipster Evan Blass, the upcoming chipset will be manufactured using the 4nm process and it is said that the processor will feature a Snapdragon X65 5G Modem-RF system the same was launched in February this year, it is worth mentioning that the modem can able to provide the speed up to 10Gbps on both standalone and non-standalone 5G networks.
The upcoming Snapdragon chipset will be powered by the Kryo 780 CPU built on ARM Cortex v9 technology along with Adreno 730 GPU, and it is also said that the same will feature Adreno 665 Video Processing Unit (VPU), Adreno 1195 Display Processing Unit (DPU). The source claims that the processor will come with Spectra 680 ISP.
It will support quad-channel package-on-package LPDDR5 RAM and the upcoming Snapdragon processor is reported to arrive with up to 1GHz mmWave downlink and 400MHz Sub-6 D along with support for Qualcomm FastConnect 6900 subsystem. It is said to have Qualcomm secure processing unit (SPU260) as well as Qualcomm Aqstic WCD9380/WCD9385 audio codec.
