We are at the beginning of a brand new year and this year we are going to witness many new innovative devices in various categories such as budget, mid-range, and flagship. Well, that is not the only thing which we are going to witness but we also the new version of the mobile operating system. This year Google will roll out Android 11 which will be the successor of Android 10 which is yet to hit many devices out there.
Having said that, the next generation of the mobile operating system is spotted on the current flagship device of Google i.e. Google Pixel 4. A new listing on the popular benchmarking website Geekbench surfaced online and that shows details of Google Pixel 4 which is not a new variant but with the new version of the operating system, that mention the device is running on the upcoming Android 11.
The listing shows the test results of the Google smartphone with the new version of the operating system and it has scored 712 points and 2,181 points in single-core and multi-core tests respectively.
Apart from that, there’s no information about the next generation of the mobile operating system, at the same time we should not forget that the Geekbench listing can be easily manipulated and there is no guarantee for the actual things to be added on the database. However, we can take this information as a pinch of salt.
It is also worth to mention that we can also expect that the company may preview the upcoming Android 11, the company has a track record of previewing the new version of the operating system in the first quarter of the year and usually, the company do the same in the month of March.
