Google is working on the next generation Android 14 operating system which will power millions of mobiles and the new operating system will be announced in the third quarter of this year. However, the rumours related to the upcoming operating system started to appear and now we got a new piece of information which is suggesting that the developers of the upcoming Android 14 are focusing on security very seriously.
According to the latest information, the upcoming Android 14 will not allow the installation of outdated applications on the devices.
We know that the applications which are available on Google Play Store are safe and secure but there is a way of sideloading that enables users to install applications by downloading the APK and this creates a loophole for malwares.
Google might be planning to close this particular loophole by restricting the installation of the outdated applications.
As I mentioned above, the search engine giant Google will be rolling out the new Android 14 in the third quarter of this year and we can expect the first beta version of the software in March this year.
