During the Google I/O 2024 event, the Mountain View company Google officially released the second beta version of the upcoming Android 15 operating system. The developers of the operating system added several new features along with improvements in privacy and security. It is now confirmed that the latest Android 15 will be offering better battery life and let’s get into the article to check out the details.
Android 15 will be offering better battery as the operating system will be capable to offer battery standby time up to 3 hours and this is happening because of the Optimisation to Doze mode. This particular feature is already available in the operating system and the same helps to keep battery when the phone is not in an active stage. Now the developers made the Doze mode faster in the Android 15 operating system.
Google says that the devices running on Android 15 will achieve Doze mode 50% faster compared to Android 14. For those who are not aware, Doze mode is actually restricting background activity and app access to system resources when your device is inactive for an extended period. This will be reducing the consumption of battery.
The stable version of Android 15 will be released in the third quarter of this year and you guys are recommended to stick with us for more updates from the world of technology.
