The Mountain View company Google has a habit of shutting down its products and services and sometimes the company may not offer any clarification behind the decision as well. Now the company has announced yet another shutdown announcement and the very popular Android Auto feature for smartphone screens will stop working very soon. The company did not reveal the exact shutting down date of the service.
The company will offer the service with the new cars which are coming with preloaded Android Auto and that means there is no need to offer Android Auto application on the smartphones.
It is worth mentioning that the Android 12 is the first operating system of the company which arrived without Android Auto on smartphones. The company is now doing the same treatment with the Android 11 operating system as well. It is reported that the most popular Android operating system is showcasing a message, “Android Auto for phone screens will stop working soon.”
With the new decision, users can able to use the same features with the Google Assistant driving mode feature, and the company is claiming that it is the next evolution of the mobile driving experience.
