Recently we have a updated that Google has started rolling out Android Nougat 7.1.2 beta update to the selected devices. At that time, we don’t know many things about the update, as Google calls this update as a maintenance release and because of that the company hasn’t relieved much about the features included in. However, we have got a report from a user of Nexus 5X, and the report says that one of the Pixel’s exclusive feature has made it to the device with the beta update.
Last year, when Google launched the Pixel devices it introduced a new feature called Fingerprint Gesture. Which allows users to pull down the notification bar by swiping their finger on the fingerprint scanner, this feature was only limited to the Pixel devices. However, now with the beta update a user has reported that on Nexus 5X the fingerprint gesture feature is available.
Well it seems that Google has decided that to expand the feature to other devices, we hope the Nexus 6P smartphone will also get this feature. Right now, the phone hasn’t received the Android Nougat 7.1.2 beta update.
We also shouldn’t forget that the 7.1.2 Nougat is being rolled out in beta version and there is no guarantee that the new feature will be available on this 2015 Nexus smartphone. If Google gives this feature in the Nexus devices then it would be really cool, anyways fingers crossed!
