Google’s artificial intelligence Google Assistant may well be the best personal assistant the smartphone industry has ever experienced. But that doesn’t mean it comes with no flaws. Like every product Google assistant has its own set of flaws and third party integration is one of those. This set to change with the advent of Android Oreo.
XDA developers have found out a code which allows users to open and run Google Assistant within their apps without needing to leave the apps. Not only would the feature keep users within apps, but allows developers to harness Google Assistant’s capabilities. This would also allow Google to buff up its AI assistant quite a bit, since Google wants users to utilize Google Assistant as much as possible in order to grow even more.
Besides these, you can also set other virtual assistants such as Cortana or Alexa as your default assistant. This means that developers can use Google’s AI to integrate the likes of Microsoft’s Cortana and Amazon’s Alexa into their apps.
