Apple is said to switch its proprietary Lightning port on the upcoming iPhone 15 Series and the company will offer the universally accepted USB Type C. The company is changing the port due to the new regulations and now we got a new piece of information that suggests the company is now replacing the charging port on other products as well. So without making any further delay let’s get into the article to check out more details.
According to the analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the Cupertino-based giant is now shifting to USB Type C port from its Lightning Port on other products such as AirPods, Magic Keyboard, trackpad, and mouse. That’s not all, the company is also making changes to the upcoming MagSafe chargers as well.
There is no information on the launching timeline of the new products with the USB Type C but we believe that the company will announce the accessories along with the iPhone 15 Series and the same will happen next year.
Well, it is not surprising because when the company is shifting the port on its major product – iPhone 15 then it is obvious to make changes on other products to make uniformity. In my opinion, it is a good move actually because now people can able to use the same standard on all devices whether its an Android phone or iOS powered smartphone.
