iPad is not a new product, but now tech giant Apple wants to make it more productive, and for that, the company has announced a dedicated operating system for its iPad and that will be dubbed as iPadOS. The company unveiled the new operating system at the WWDC Developer Conference in California.

The operating system brings the new home screen and that is designed to give an advantage of the larger screen, it will allow users add Today View to the home screen for at-a-glance information like weather updates, news headlines, and more.
The all new iPadOS introduces the new multitasking gestures like drag and drop Split View to open two apps side by side, and App Expose which will allow users to get a quick view of an app’s open window with a single tap. And the OS also loaded with improved Files app, and that will allow users to share the whole iCloud Drive folders, and also allowing the recipient to access the latest version of a folder. It also supports the zip and unzip along with the new keyboard shortcuts.
Apple has implemented a couple of text editing gestures in the iPad dedicated OS, it will allow you to pinch with three fingers to zoom, expand to paste, and swipe to undo. It also allows to Slide-Over and that will and that allows to quickly switch between apps with a swipe. The operating system also makes the Apple Pencil more powerful and now it can offer quick access to a wide range of tools like ruler, eraser, and more. Furthermore, the company also achieved the input latency from 20 milliseconds to 9 milliseconds and that’s awesome.
The iPadOS will also offer a desktop web browsing experience to the users via its Safari browser, website will open in desktop view on the latest operating system running iPads and that will optimize touch experience and give an awesome web experience to the users whenever they log into the browsing sessions.
iPadOS also supports the dark mode and custom font support from platforms such as Adobe, Monotype, and more. that will be available from the App Store, and the OS will have iOS 13 features like improved Photos app, latest Apple Maps, faster Face ID, and smaller app update packages. Moreover, the operating system will support the external drive.
The operating system is available for the Developer Preview, and the first public beta will be released next month.
