As rumoured, the technological giant Apple has silently announced its new iPad models and that includes the iPad Pro 2022 and iPad 10th generation. The newly announced iPad (10th gen) features a larger 10.9-inch LED display along with 2,360 x 1,640 pixels resolution and 500 nits brightness. It is also featuring True Tone technology and the same is coming with a fingerprint-resistant oleophobic coating. It is featuring symmetrical bezels on all four sides of the screen.
It is featuring a 12MP camera on the back panel and it is featuring a 12MP front facing camera. The device is also capable to offer 1080p video recording along with the features including facetime and centre stage. The device is also coming with dual mics and stereo speakers.
The newly announced iPad 10th gen is not featuring the Touch ID which usually comes at the bottom side of the display but the company has embedded the fingerprint scanner in the power button and the same is located at the top side of the device.
It is powered by the Apple A14 Bionic chipset which is having a 6-core CPU and quad-core GPU with a 16-core neural engine. The device is also coming with up to 256 GB of internal storage but we don’t have any details about the RAM and battery details.
The Apple iPad 10th gen runs on iOS 16 and the same is compatible with the new Magic Keyboard Folio and first-gen Pencil. Regarding the connectivity options, the device supports WiFi-6, Bluetooth 5.2, and finally, a USB Type-C port.
Regarding the pricing and availability, the iPad 10th gen with 64GB WiFi-only version costs $449 whereas the 256GB option costs $599. The WiFi+LTE variants of the same storage models are priced at $599 and $799 respectively. On the other hand, the pricing of the device in India starts at ₹44,900 and ₹59,990 for 64GB and 256GB WiFi-only models. While the WiFi+ Cellular models of the same storage options are priced at ₹59,990 and ₹74,990 respectively. The shipping of the device is starting on October 28.
