The latest iOS 27 features a new slider in Settings and the same allows users to personalise Liquid Glass and the control will enable users to choose between a highly transparent look and a more tinted appearance that will offer greater flexibility over how the interface looks.
Apple has also updated its Liquid Glass and the company has refreshed the way how it is rendered by default. The newly introduced update is designed to improve contrast and make interface elements easier to distinguish without affecting the visual style of the software.
The latest update has also refined the app icons and it is said that the icons now feature clearer layer separation and sharper edges. It is also announced that multiple design changes will be applied on macOS 27 Golden Gate including a more uniform toolbar across applications, edge-to-edge sidebars, and coloured sidebar icons.
Moreover, the company has also introduced the new Apple Intelligence, a new Siri AI experience that brings parental controls, Screen Time enhancements, and performance improvements across iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS, visionOS, and tvOS.
It is also announced that the developer testing for the latest software update will start immediately through the Apple Developer Program, while the public beta will be released by next month. The stable version is expected to be released later this year.
