The newly announced Apple M2 chip is using Apple’s custom ARM silicon and the same is built using the 5nm process with 20 billion transistors. The company has also claimed that the new tips that can provide an 18 percent faster CPU and a 35 percent faster GPU compared to the M1.
Apple M2 chipset is also coming with four high-performance cores, with four high-efficiency cores. It is also featuring a shared 16MB cache on the performance cores, and a shared 4MB cache on the efficiency ones.
The latest Apple M2 chipset is also coming with up to 10 cores, and it offers amazing graphics as well using a larger cache and higher memory bandwidth.
It is also coming with 100Gbps of memory bandwidth and 24GB of unified memory, and the new Apple M2 chipset also features a next-generation secure enclave and neural engine. It is also coming with a new media engine and the same supports 8K H.264 and HEVC video.
