It was recently reported that Apple will be switching from Dynamic Island and the company was planning to hide the entire Face ID system under the display and leave just a small punch-hole for the front facing camera.
However, today we got a new piece of information that says this will not turn into reality as the company has to stick with the Dynamic Island for its upcoming iPhone models.
The company is actually facing challenges with the under-display technology. The problem comes down to how Face ID works, as it is not just one sensor that can be easily accommodate under the screen. There is a full set of components involved, and they all need to work reliably through the display without causing any issues. So the company might take some more time to fix the problems and overcome the challenges by next year.
