Its the time of the year when the Cupertino company, Apple is getting ready for the next generation of products and software. Following the tradition, the company has released possibly a final update to iOS 13, with a version number, 13.6.1. This version of iOS and iPadOS brings a few bug fixes to the table but no new features.
Speaking of the improvements brought by iOS 13.6.1 and iPadOS 13.6.1, it has quite a few of them. It has fixed the green tint issue appeared on some of the displays which were caused by thermal throttling issues. Additionally, it has also fixed the Exposure Notification getting delayed or blocked and an issue where the system files were deleted accidentally when the Apple devices ran out of storage. This issue was apparent in the older generation devices with less storage.
Changelog of iOS 13.6.1:
– Addresses an issue where unneeded system data files might not be automatically deleted when available storage is low
– Fixes a thermal management issue that caused some displays to exhibit a green tint
– Fixes an issue where Exposure Notifications could be disabled for some users
Some features may not be available for all regions or on all Apple devices. For information on the security content of Apple software updates, please visit the website by clicking here.
