The iOS 16 operating system is full of bugs and Apple is consistently working hard to fix all the problems of the software and now the company has officially rolled out iOS 16.3 update. The developers of the software have rolled out the latest version with lots of security improvements and performance improvements.
Apple has introduced the latest iOS 16.3 update with Security Keys for Apple ID, and the same will allow physical-two-factor authentication which is actually replacing the digital two-factor authentication used for Apple ID logins.
The company has also introduced a new Unity wallpaper and the latest update is also supporting for the newly launched second-generation HomePod.
Moreover, Apple has also tweaked Emergency SOS and the same will prevent accidental emergency calls. You can still activate Emergency SOS by pressing down the side button with the up or down volume button but with the latest update, the device will not place the call until the buttons are released.
The latest iOS 16.3 has also fixed some known bugs such as the horizontal lines that temporarily appeared on the newly announced iPhone 14 Pro Max. The latest update is also fixing the problem with the Home Lock Screen widget not accurately displaying the Home app status, and Siri bugs related to music requests and CarPlay are also fixed.
Apple is also fixing the problem with the Freeform where some drawing strokes created with Apple Pencil or your finger may not appear on shared boards. The development of the company is also bringing a solution with iOS 16.3 update for the problem with the wallpaper appearing black on the lock screen.
The update will be available via OTA and you can check for the update manually by opening settings > General > Software Update.
