It seems that Apple is gearing up to make massive changes in its smartphone series in the next couple of years as now we got a new piece of information which is suggesting that the company is planning to offer display panels along with the LTPO technology on its base models. The company is currently offering the high refresh rate display panels only in the Pro models.
According to Ross Young, CEO of Display Supply Chain Consultants, ProMotion technology which was first introduced on the iPhone 13 Pro models in 2021, is now said to offer the same on standard iPhone models in two years.
It is said that the company will offer up to a 120Hz refresh rate and it is also expected that the company will bring low-power LTPO display technology to standard iPhones in 2025. That means the company is going to implement the new setup in iPhone 17.
