We are just a few months away from the official launch of the iPhone 18 series and we are hearing more and more details about the next-generation iPhone 18 series through various reports. It was recently reported that the vanilla weekend, which is the iPhone 18 will be coming with 12 GB of RAM and it was a welcoming update. Today we got a new piece of information about the matter, and it says that the device is not getting 12 GB of RAM but there is an upgrade in the memory department. According to the TF International Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, both the regular iPhone 18 and the rumored budget model which is the iPhone 18e, are expected to come in the first quarter of next year and it will be around March or April 2027. The devices are also reported to come with 9GB of DRAM and it is a modest bump up from the 8GB in the current iPhone 17 base models.
The source has also said that the upcoming setup reportedly uses six 1.5GB chips along with Apple’s upcoming A20 mobile processor. Let’s hope that the new jump can able to manage AI capability and we are looking forward to hear more about the same in the coming days.
