The Cupertino company, Apple is busy working behind the iPhone 12 Series coming later this year. So we are getting leaks and rumors regarding the upcoming iPhone 12 from various sources. First, the rumors claimed that there will be up to four iPhone 12 models this year. Now we have even more shocking news.
According to Analytics from Barclays, Apple will not include EarPods for listening to music with the iPhone 12 inside the box. This move from Apple follows the company’s decision to remove headphone jacks from iPhone 7 onwards. It was their decision to favor the sales of AirPods which became the world’s best selling wearables afterward. But Apple continued to include EarPods with a lightning port for wired music listening.
In addition, the report also claims that Apple is reportedly axing EarPods along with charging brick. This move if turns out to be final, will be quite surprising as the company must find a viable alternative that supports fast charging as well. Currently, the wireless charging speed from Apple only provides a speed of up to 5W.
If we are to look at the credibility of the source, they also leaked the information that Apple would be removing the headphone jack adapter from the box of iPhone XS and iPhone XR. They also predicted that Apple would remove the 3D Touch from iPhone 11, which tuned out to be true. This claim was also corroborated by the famous Apple leakster, Ming-Chi Kuo. As usual, take this rumor with a pinch of salt.
What do you think? Will Apple remove charging brick from the box? Let us know in the comments below.
