The Cupertino-based company has officially introduced a new plan in the United States dubbed the Apple Upgrade, and it is really interesting. So let’s get into the article to check out the full details.
Apple has introduced the new Apple Upgrade, and it is actually a leasing program that will enable you to get an iPhone, iPad, Mac, or Apple Watch by paying a monthly fee instead of paying the full price at once.
The company is offering the plans at the starting price of $17.99/month for iPhone, $11.99/month for Apple Watch and iPad, and $24.99/month for Mac. Apple will also enable you to select the duration life 12 or 24 months for iPhone and Apple Watch, while iPad and Mac are available with 24- or 36-month plans.
The plan will not ask you to exchange your old device. Trading in an old device is optional and only helps lower your monthly payment. For iPhones, you must use a postpaid plan from AT&T, Verizon, or T-Mobile. A quick credit check is also required before approval.
When your plan ends, the company will be offering three choices, including returning the device, paying the remaining amount and keeping it, or upgrading to a newer model with a new plan. It is also confirmed that there will be no extra leasing charges.
Let’s hope that Apple will bring the new plan to India as well and share your thoughts about the same in the comments section below.
