As many of you knows that many smartphone OEMs are manufacturing there smartphones in India under The Honourable Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi’s ‘Make in India’ initiative. Some of those companies are Xiaomi, Moto, Lenovo, OnePlus and Samsung. Indian Government is trying to convince Apple to Start manufacturing there products in India like iPhones, iPad, MacBook, etc. but Apple was not convinced. But now Apple is all ready to start production in India. So let’s have a talk on this in detail.
Today Apple has finally announced that they will Manufacture iPhones here in India. They will do it in Bengaluru city. Bengaluru is known as IT city of India and the most techie city. So I think that it’s right choice to develop a manufacturing plant there. There’s no timeline when will the production of iPhones will start but it is expected that they will start it in the month of April. They have chosen a location in Bengaluru as well but haven’t said anything about this. This step will be beneficial for India as long as Apple and USA.
