Apple’s On-Screen touch ID woes might delay the arrival of iPhone 8

[appbox windowsstore ]     Technology heavyweight Apple Inc has a mountain to climb as the tentative launch date of the 10th anniversary iPhone 8 is nearing. It is already known and almost confirmed that iPhone 8 will be featuring an almost bezel-less display which itself is a first if it’s kind for Apple. But what’s even more fascinating is the the rumors which claim fingerprint scanner aka Apple’s touch ID will be embedded On-Screen.

If Apple can pull this off on iPhone 8 , this will be a huge leap not only for Apple but for the whole Smartphone industry itself. All we know is the company has been working for months to nail the accuracy and stability of the scanner as it is in very nascent stage.

As of now the company has 2 options in front of it ahead of the launch. Apple would have to procrastinate the launch of the iPhone 8 which is just 2 months away from now. Another option is sacking the iconic touch ID itself from the equation altogether. This might end up in a disaster as it would urge the users to make use of the facial recognition or iris scanner which is way more cumbersome than the touch ID. It would also affect the Apple pay as face scanner is less secured and reliable than the touch ID thus making a chaos amongst the customers.

But what’s even more worser is that Apple just has 2 more weeks to take a decision whether to add the Onscreen Fingerprint scanner or not as the mass production of the iPhones has to be started by August. Will pull off a blinder and satisfy its fanboys or will it succumb in the race? What do you think . Let us know in the comments below..
