The very popular chipset designer ARM has officially introduced the new Cortex-X925 CPU and Immortalis G925 GPU, the company is promising to provide a serious jump in mobile performance for flagship devices. The new offerings will be available in the flagship devices that are coming later this year.
The Cortex-X925 CPU features a massive 36% increase in single-core performance and a 41% improvement in AI tasks. It is also coming with a new generation of Cortex-A microarchitectures for “small” cores, that will be providing better performance as well as efficiency.
While the Immortalis G925 GPU is coming with a 37% boost in graphics performance along with a 52% improvement in ray tracing for complex objects, and a 34% enhancement in AI workloads. It will be consuming 30% less energy as well.
ARM is also offering an “optimized layout” for easier integration of these new designs and it is worth mentioning that this will be integrated with the upcoming Dimensity 9400 mobile processor and the same will be powering the Vivo X200 smartphone.
