Almost a week ago we told you that Asus is going to launch Asus Zenfone 3s Max in India that they announced few month back in China named as Asus Pegasus 3s. So now today Asus launched this Zenfone 3s Max in India. It’s the first smartphone of 2017 for India. So what’s inside this Zenfone 3s Max ? Let’s find out..
This Zenfone 3s Max is powered by MediaTek’s MT6750 octa core processor clocked at 1.5Ghz with Mali-T860MP2 GPU. It sports a 5.2” 720p HD Display with 284 PPI. It has 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage with expandable memory of upto 2TB. Regarding camera it has 13MP rear facing camera with dual tone LED flash, and an 8MP front facing camera. On the software side it has Android 7.0 nougat out of the box with Asus’s Zen UI on top. It has Dual SIM support with VoLTE out of the box. The fingerprint sensor is situated on the home key that’s below the Display.
Now coming to the highlight of the phone, Zenfone 3s Max has a huge 5000mah battery. Sadly there no fast charging support so it will take a lot of time to charge this device. Other phones can also be charged through Zenfone 3s Max’s battery with the OTG that they will supply.
There’s nothing much special in this phone as now almost every mid-range and budget smartphones have a larger battery, some are even with fast charging support. And many other phones do provide better specs like a 1080p display instead of 720p display, more powerful processor, a lot better camera and the most important thing, value for money. As this Asus Zenfone 3s Max is priced at Rs.14990 that’s too overpriced for what Asus is giving. Only key factor of this phone is that it comes with Android 7.0 nougat out of the box in this price range. So this phone will be available from both online as well as offline stores.
