Truecaller, a widely used app for identifying the caller id has launched a new feature to safeguard your contact and messages by backing up them in Google Drive.
Through this feature you can easily backup your Contacts, Call logs and Messages in Android, when you are changing your phones or doing a factory reset in your smartphone without being fear of loss of your important data.
How to Backup your Contacts
After you update your Truecaller to a new version, Truecaller prompted to backup all your contacts, call history, call logs, block list and settings preferences to a file that will be stored on your Google Drive. If you don’t already have a Google Drive account you have to create one.

From the Settings menu, you’ll be able to select how often you want to backup your data (daily, weekly, monthly or never.)
How to restore your data
To restore all your data you have to give Truecaller access to the file you stored on your Google Drive and your data will be restored to the last saved state.
