Baidu has officially unveiled its Xiaodu AI Glasses, and it is the “world’s first AI glasses that features a native Chinese language model. The device has the advanced Ernie language model and the device weigh just 45 grams.
The device also features a 16MP ultra-wide-angle camera with AI stabilization and the same will enable smooth as well as stable first-person perspective photography. The latest AI glasses also feature a four-microphone array along with open-ear anti-leakage speakers.
It also features six core functionalities including real-time Q&A through walk-and-ask queries, calorie recognition, object identification through an encyclopedia feature, audio-visual translation, and intelligent reminders. It also comes with AI anti-shake technology and the Xiaodu AI Glasses offer up to 56 hours on standby and can run over 5 hours continuously. The device also supports fast charging capability as well.
The latest Xiaodu AI Glasses run on the DuerOS AI native operating system and it is seamlessly integrated with popular Baidu applications like Baidu Maps and Baike.
Regarding the pricing and availability, the latest Xiaodu AI Glasses will officially launch in the first half of 2025. The device is expected to feature a price tag under 2,100 yuan.
