Recently OnePlus is pushing out many updates which are actually improving the system performance or bringing new features and changes. Just 2 months ago they pushed an update for their latest devices which added new fluid animation in the UI. Now OnePlus is pushing a new OxygenOS update which enhance not just the UI, but overall smoothness of the phone. So without any further delay, let’s get to know about it.
This is OxygenOS 14.1 update with firmware version CPH2447_14.0.0.810(EX01) for IN. Though you will still see version 14.0 in the UI, but the extracted file of the update file clearly mentions version 14.1.0. Maybe OnePlus will fix either the version of UI or codebase file in future update.
Now, have a look at the changelog below:

Games
- Improves gaming stability.
- Fixes an issue where the screen might turn black while playing a game.
System
- You can now choose not to show the track when drawing the Lock screen pattern to unlock your device.
- Music controls can now be displayed in Live Alerts.
- Integrates the June 2024 Android security patch to enhance system security.

There are few minor differences which are not present in changelog like revamped music player in lock screen, revamped icons in status bar, curved volume panel, blur wallpaper option, changes in settings page, Repaid Mode, and few minor changes in layout. One change which is present in OnePlus 12 but missing in 11 is the slider control for flashlight. In OnePlus 12 you can now change the brightness of flash light, but in OnePlus 11.
Overview of OxygenOS 14.1
I own OnePlus 11 and I am using this OxygenOS 14.1 update from past 1 day. And I must say this is the best update this device ever got. Now OnePlus is utilizing the hardware properly. I have never seen a OnePlus device this smooth. And this is not just about OnePlus UI, but other apps like Instagram and X as well. Every app feels smoother than before. Battery life feels the same in 1st charge.
The update size is 1.05GB (OnePlus 12) and 1.06GB (OnePlus 11) and it’s incrementally rolling out in India region as of now. This update is also expected in OnePlus 10 Pro shortly and in latest Nord devices.
