Black Shark, the sub-brand of a Chinese electronics giant introduced its new gaming Smartphones dubbed Black Shark 5 and 5 Pro and the devices were unveiled a couple of months ago in China. Now it is officially confirmed that the devices will get a passport next month as the company is launching the devices globally.
The smartphone brand has confirmed that the latest Black Shark 5 and 5 Pro will be official in the market of Malaysia and the devices will be official on June 8.
The Black Shark 5 Pro smartphone features a 6.67-inch FHD+ display with 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution along with a 144Hz refresh rate and it is featuring 1300 nits of max brightness. The device is also coming with DC dimming along with 100% P3 color gamut as well as HDR10+ and 1.07 billion colors. The display of the device is also featuring a 720Hz touch sampling rate and has a dual-zone pressure-sensitive screen. It is also coming with SGS Blu-ray certification and the display of the device also has an 8.3ms multi-finger touch response delay.
Black Shark 5 Pro is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 mobile processor along with up to 16GB of LPDDR5 and 512GB of Disk Array 2.0. It is worth mentioning that the Disk Array can perform amazingly and the same is capable to provide the speeds of UFS 3.1 and SSD.
The smartphone is also featuring an Anti-gravity double VC cooling system with a 5320mm² large VC area and the device is also coming with magnetic lift-up shoulder triggers.
Speaking about the camera department, the latest Black Shark 5 Pro smartphone features a triple rear camera setup and that includes a 108MP Samsung S5KHM2 primary sensor along with a 13MP OmniVision OV13B10 ultra-wide sensor and a 5MP Samsung S5K5E9 telephoto lens. It is also featuring a 16MP OmniVision OV16A1Q front facing camera.
Black Shark 5 Pro houses a 4,650mAh battery with 120W fast charging technology and the device is running on the latest Android 12 OS and has JoyUI 13 on top. Regarding the connectivity options, the device supports Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.2, USB Type C port, among others.
The vanilla variant features a 6.67-inch Samsung E4 AMOLED display with a full-HD+ resolution along with 144Hz refresh rate and has a 720Hz touch sampling rate. The device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 mobile processor along with MIUI-based JoyUI 13 which is based on Android 12 operating system.
It is also featuring a triple rear camera setup with a 64-megapixel primary sensor, a 13-megapixel ultrawide camera, and a 5-megapixel macro lens. The device also features a 16-megapixel selfie camera. The Black Shark 5 houses a 4,650mAh battery with 120W fast charging.
