Bose has unveiled SoundLink Flex portable Bluetooth speaker with some rugged features and 12 hours of playtime.It is IP67 water and dust resistant and is priced at an affordable $ 149.
Soundlink Flex delivers a rugged design and stunning audio output for such a compact size speaker. The Bose Sound Link Flex is 7.9 inches wide, 3.6 inches high and 2.1 inches thick. It weighs just 1 pound (450 g) and has a built-in utility loop for attaching to a carabiner. The Bluetooth speaker’s silicone back and powder – coated steel grille are designed to protect against damage and possible discoloration from ultraviolet light. An IP67 rating means that the speaker pool is safe and will rise to the surface when it falls into the water.
Soundlink Flex’s built-in mic can be used to take calls and support voice assistant interfaces with your smartphone. The Bluetooth speaker can be connected to other units for better sound output. With its customisable transducer, the device can produce good sounds and enables the speaker to adjust the audio output output according to the speaker’s orientation. Available in three color variants: Black, Blue, and Smoke White
