According to the reliable tipster Digital Chat Station (DCS), Apple will be launching the iPhone 17 Pro with the same camera setup as the iPhone 16 Pro series.
It is reported that the iPhone 17 Pro will retain the triple camera setup of its predecessor. So the upcoming device will feature a 48-megapixel main sensor, a 48-megapixel ultrawide sensor, and a 48-megapixel periscope telephoto lens that will offer 5x optical zoom.
The source also says that both the main and telephoto lenses will continue to use the combination of glass as well as plastic elements and the same is known as GP lenses.
It is also reported that the company might upgrade the front-facing camera and the same will be coming with a 24-megapixel sensor on the board.
