The device also comes with a large Type 1.4 CMOS sensor along with a built-in cooling system, and the device also features pro-level video capabilities. The newly announced Canon PowerShot V1 features 1.4-inch CMOS sensor and the same will offer impressive output even in low lighting conditions. The device also comes with the DIGIC X processor, and the Canon PowerShot V1 offers a maximum resolution of 22.3 megapixels along with an ISO range up to 32,000 for stills and 25,600 for video. The camera is also integrated with 16-50mm f/2.8-4.5 zoom lens and the same offers a wide perspective.
Canon has introduced the new Canon PowerShot V1 with an active cooling system, and this enables the device to shoot uncropped 5.7K oversampled 4K at 30fps and full 4K60 (1.4x crop) with minimal heat concerns. The camera also comes with 10-bit Canon Log 3.
The device features Dual Pixel CMOS AF II brings high-speed along with precise autofocus with subject detection for humans, pets, and even moving objects. It is also capable of subject-tracking image stabilization and the camera features 30fps burst mode with an electronic shutter.
Regarding the connectivity options, the latest Canon PowerShot V1 features USB-C, HDMI, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi. The device also comes with a dedicated photo/video toggle switch along with a multifunction hot shoe, a three-stop ND filter, and both microphone and headphone jacks for professional-grade audio.
In terms of pricing and availability, the latest Canon PowerShot V1 is priced at 148,500 yen and the camera will be available in Japan from April 2025. There is no information about the availability of the camera in other parts of the world at the moment of time.
