OpenAI has officially announced a new update for the free users and that will bring a big smile on the face. It is announced that ChatGPT users on the free version can able to make unlimited unlimited text chats without any automatic switching to a lesser model.
It is worth mentioning that the recently introduced GPT-5.6 Luna model will be the default model for the free and Go users. The switching to the new GPT-5.6 Luna will be happening this week, while the unlimited text chats will be available next week.
The platform will be offering access to a new Think button that will enable you to select how much “thought” ChatGPT puts into its responses. The company is also improving the flagship GPT-5.6 Sol model, which is only available to the Plus or Pro tiers. The new model is also designed to make less mistakes, especially when it comes to numbers, dates, sources, rules, or assumptions.
