It is officially announced that the company is starting to test the advertisements in ChatGPT and this will be available for both free and Go users. It is also said that advertisements will be testing in the United States at the moment of time. The advertisements will be visible to the users who have signed in adult users while users under age of 18 will not see any advertisements.
The platform allows free users to disable advertisements but it will reduce the number of message limit. The advertisements on the platform will be based on past conversations along with current chat topics and previous ad interactions. It is also said that advertisers will be receiving data related to how users interact with advertisements. It is also said that advertisements will not be available in chats that are related to health or mental health and politics.
ChatGPT users with Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise, and Education subscriptions will not see any ads. It is also confirmed that the advertisements will not influence the answers.
