In 2017 we have seen many smartphone launches from tier 1 brands to few new brands as well. In countries like India, smartphone industry has a very tough competition. OEMs like Apple, Samsung, Xiaomi, Motorola, Oppo, Vivo and OnePlus has already captured the Indian market with huge margin. In this tough competition chances of a new OEM to do well is not that easy. Now seems like a new OEM is going to try their luck in India. A Chinese OEM Infinix is going to debut in India.
Flipkart has started teasing a new device with the tagline “New Kid on the block”, which is coming soon to India. But Media has got an invite from Infinix for their official debut in India on 1st of August, as you can see from the image above. Now if you notice from the teaser by Flipkart, the phone shown in the image is Infinix Note 4. So mostly this is the phone from which Infinix is going to debut in India.
The specs of this device seems like a budget oriented device i.e. an unknown octa core processor, 2GB RAM + 16GB of internal storage which is expandable via MicroSd Card slot, 5.7” display with 2.5D curved glass and unknown resolution. The camera setup also seems to be average, 13MP Rear Camera and 8MP Front Camera. Only USP of this device is it’s battery i.e. 4300mah with company’s Xcharge technology, that can charge 45% of battery in 30 minutes.
So that’s all the information we have. Now only thing we are interested in is the pricing. If the phone is priced at INR 6,999 or less, then it will be a good deal. Also the processor used in it should be Qualcomm’s processor, not MediaTek. So stay tuned with us for more information.
