The popular social media platform Instagram is reportedly testing a new feature and the same will be capable to showcase recently shared Reels on the DM page on the board.
It is reported that Instagram is currently testing a new feature dubbed “Latest Shares” row and the same will be available at the top of the DM page menu. The source has shared an image and the same showcasing that each recently shared Reel is having a circular avatar, and the same is expected to represent the friend who shared it.

There is no clarification on whether the company will offer the feature for non-Reels posts or other Reels not shared by or with the user.
