Back in April at the F8 Developer Conference, the social network Facebook announced a new platform to create the 3D Instagram effect using the Spark AR and the platform was limited to a selected group of creators. Well, now the company has announced that the platform is open for all the creators which means now everyone can build the argument reality filters for Instagram.
As the company released the platform for all the creators now people can able to create Augmented reality filters for the world’s most favourite social media application Instagram. The platform was initially named as a Camera Filters but the company rebranded as the new Spark AR and the company also launched the Spark AR Studio software for macOS as well.
The Augmented reality filters were introduced in last year but now the company has made it in the full setup, to use the new filters users need to follow the creator and then open the Instagram camera, Instagram is also adding browse filters option at the end of the effects which will available in the camera section of the application.
To create your own AR effects on Instagram, you can download the Spark AR Studio software on your Windows or macOS. Facebook’s Spark AR community is filled with tutorials and sample effects for inspiration.
