After the Government of India has announced a ban on the most popular online multiplayer game, PUBG MOBILE, an Indian alternative titled FAU-G has been promised by the Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar. The whole of social media is discussing it, so let us explore all the details we know so far.
FAU-G is being published by an Indian developer going by the nameu nCore games, based in Bengaluru. The team even has Indian gaming industry veteran Vishal Gondal as an investor. FAU-G – stands for Fearless and United-Guards. The team has pledged to donate 20% of its revenue to the government’s fund for paramilitary forces called Bharat Ke Veer set up after the 2019 Pulwama terror attack.

Akshay Kumar tweeted about the game and caught on the Atmanirbhar Bharat” sentiment which calls for Indian ventures to rise and outshine the International brands. This game is hoping to be all that PUBG MOBILE was and as an Indian made game hopes to score millions of downloads like any others in the mobile world.
According to the team, this game was in the works for some months and in fact the first level of the game is based on Galwan Valley, where a deadly clash in Ladakh in June left 20 Indian soldiers dead and the Chinese suffering an unspecified number of casualties. The bollywood actor came up with the name ‘FAU-G’ (a play on the Hindi word for soldier, ‘fauji‘).
The Tencent published PUBG MOBILE was banned along withother 117 apps from China owing to the national security concerns following an unrest in the Indo-Chinese border.
