The Mountain View company Google has rolled out the final beta version of the upcoming Android operating system i.e. Android Q, the company is expected to announce the official Android Q builds in this month. As August is the usual timeline of the announcement, the final beta version is known as Android Q Beta 6 and it is available for the Google Pixel devices, other third-party smartphone brands are expected to roll out the update in the coming weeks.
It brings refinements for the gesture navigation, along with a new sensitivity preference setting for the Back gesture. The update also brings the August security patch along with the bug fixes for a number of known issues like null text in Settings search, WebView problems, and more.
“Although Beta 6 is a near-final release, apps may not always work as expected,” Google wrote in the release notes.
The update also makes way for the final API 29 SDK and updated build tools for Android Studio. The developer can use these to prepare their apps for the final Android Q rollout.
So, that’s all for now, we are waiting eagerly for the official announcement of Android Q or Android 10.
