Fitbit is a popular name in the Fitness World as the company offers incredible products and it is now a part of the Google family since January 2021, as the Mountain View company acquired the brand at $2.1 billion. Now Google is going to make a big change after making the deal. It is officially revealed that Fitbit will introduce a Google account to login from next year.
Currently, you can able to login to the products and services of Fitbit using a Fitbit account and the brand manages its own login setup with two-factor authentication (2FA) that makes use of the SMS for verification.
Well, this will change from next year which means 2023 as the company has officially revealed that Fitbit users will require a Google account including to sign up or activate new Fitbit devices and services. Having said that, you can able to login without a Google account until 2025 only.
