American tech giant Apple is leading the smartwatch industry by a huge margin from any of its competitors. Seems like Apple has a secret key to make as much seamless experience with Apple Watch as possible. And the brand is still trying to bring new personalized features in upcoming smartwatches. And today’s news is about the same.
According to latest report, Apple has registered a new patent for a feature called “Hydration Measurement with a Watch”. This feature is supposed to be a lot better solution for hydration measuring, and will be more accurate than current method as well. The method which is currently used by some smartwatch brands don’t show accurate results and is very expensive. Also, that method was not that easy to implement on smartwatch.
But this new patent by Apple is supposed to solve all these issues. It will detect the hydration level by the electrical property of user’s sweat. The sensor will use non-invasive electrodes placed against the skin. For detailed information on how it works, head over to PatentlyApple who discovered the patent first on official patent information site of USA.
Of course, we won’t see this feature in upcoming Apple Watch announcing next month. But we might see this in 2022 model. What are your thoughts on this? Let us know in the comment section below.
