The Mountain View company Google is gearing up to make a major shift as the company is gearing up to replace the very popular Google Assistant with the Google Gemini which is the AI powered assistant. The shift will come with various advancements in generative AI that will offer a more capable and adaptable assistant.
Google will replace Google Assistant on most of mobile devices along with the tablets, vehicles, wearables, and smart home gadgets. The shift will happen later this year and the update follows positive feedback.
Gemini has expanded to over 40 languages in over 200 countries and now the search engine giant Google is tuning its functionality to match with Google Assistant. Apart from the basic features like music playback among others, Google Gemini will introduce AI features like Google Gemini Live for interactive along with the multimodel conversation and deep research for advanced information gathering.
