The Chinese telecommunications giant Huawei’s sub-brand Honor has unveiled the global variants of the Honor 9X Pro and View 30 Pro. In the global variants, the company has replaced the Chinese specific applications and replaced the same with Huawei Mobile Services and the company is trying to find all the possible ways to give an alternative to the Google applications and that’s because the company is banned to use American products, the fight is started since last year. Apart from the replacement, everything remains identical to the devices which we saw last year. So, without making any further delay let’s dive into the article to check out all the specifications along with the pricing and availability details of the devices in the global market.
Honor 9X Pro
Let’s start with the Honor 9X Pro, the smartphone features a 6.59 inch full HD+ display with 2340 x 1080 pixels resolution. Under the hood, the device will be powered by Kirin 810 processor along with 8GB of RAM. In terms of storage, the smartphone supports 256GB of internal storage and that can be expandable via MicroSD card upto 512GB.
Regarding the photography department, the Honor 9X Pro will have the triple rear camera setup and that’s in the combination of 48-megapixel lens with f/1.8 aperture followed by a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens. The device will have a pop-up camera for selfies and video calls and that will be in 16 megapixel with f/2.2 aperture.
The Honor 9X Pro will support a side-mounted fingerprint scanner along with Face Unlock. Regarding the connectivity, the smartphone supports Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5, 3.5mm audio jack, USB Type-C port, 4G. It will ship with a 4,000 mAh battery. The Honor 9X Pro runs on Huawei’s latest EMUI 9.1.1 version based on the Android 9 Pie operating system.
Speaking about the pricing and availability, the Honor 9X Pro will be available in France, Germany, the Netherlands, Egypt, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Malaysia, and the smartphone will available from March 2020, and the same will be priced at €249.
Honor View 30 Pro
Coming to the View 30 Pro, it’s actually the Honor V30 Pro. The smartphone 6.57 inch IPS LCD display with Full HD+ (2400×1080) resolution and 401-pixel density (PPI). This panel has 20:9 aspect ratio and has 84.5% screen to body ratio. Sadly there’s no information on which glass protection both devices have, but there’s some kind of protection here.
As far as the camera, the smartphone features a triple camera setup on both. The primary one is a 40MP sensor with f/1.6 aperture, PDAF, dual OIS, and laser autofocus. The secondary camera is an 8MP Telephoto lens with 3X optical zoom, f/2.4 aperture, and OIS. The third sensor has a 12MP wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture and PDAF. It can record videos up to 4k at 30fps. On the front, we have two cameras with a 32MP primary sensor that has f/2.0 aperture, and 8MP secondary wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture.
It is powered by Kirin 990 processor based on 7nm+ process and has an in-built 5G modem. It also has Mali-G76 MP16 GPU for gaming. The smartphone also has an 8GB RAM and 128/256GB internal storage.
The smartphone runs on the latest Android 10 out of the box with Magic UI 3 on top. There are GPU Turbo and Kirin Gaming+ 2.0 for seamless gaming experience. It packs in a 4,100mAh battery with 40W Honor SuperCharge, and also has 27W wireless charging support. For connectivity, it has 5G, dual band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, GPS, and Type-C port.
Pricing and availability, the device debuts in Russia but didn’t reveal the pricing information.
