The Mountain View company Google is updating the Summary cards with a new design for purchases, events, bills, and travel emails among others. The Summary cards in Gmail are very important tool and the same features helpful information about orders and deliveries at the top of an email. Now the developers of Google are making things more easier by improving Summary Cards and Happening Soon Section.
It is officially announced that the new purchases, events, bills, and travel email summary cards will offer new action buttons and the same will be including adding an event to the calendar, inviting others to the event, or setting up a bill payment reminder. The new summary cards will also provide important information from all related emails and update in real time.
The new update will also show tracking details, order details, and more and the same will be helping you find what you bought and when it will arrive. In travel emails, you can be able to manage reservations, check in for flights, check hotel details, and more. The update will also enable you to view/pay bills, set reminders, and add a due date in Google Tasks directly.
Gmail will soon feature a new “Happening soon” section and that will make things more easy by listing the most recent updates without requiring users to open individual emails.
