The foldable devices are entering on the mainstream and the devices are getting lots of popularity as well. Now the search engine giant Google has introduced a new interface for Gmail and the same is optimized for foldable phones. The new updated interface is offering a 2-pane layout that will enable you to see the inbox on the left half of the screen and the open email will be showcased on the right side.
With the new update, the developers of the application is trying to make multitasking easier and it will also make things easy to switch back and forth between the inboxes as well as emails. The left side of the screen will showcase the inbox and other folders, while the right pane will display the selected email. The updated version of Gmail is showcasing the search bar above the inbox and the Compose button is visible on the left side. The bottom bar extends across the entire screen.
Having said that, the company has updated the interface on Google Meet and Chat as well. Now you can easily switch between apps and services without having to adjust window sizes.
