In our busy life, we sometimes forget to reply to the emails, and sometimes it creates a bad impression. Well, Google understands this and brings a solution to this problem, as the company announced a new feature in the Gmail which will remind the user to reply to an email.
Google announced the new feature called ‘nudge’ in the Gmail and the feature is powered by Artificial Intelligence which will help the user to reply to the emails. The feature will automatically be turned on for all the users of the new version of Gmail, and if you don’t want to use the feature then you can disable it by heading to the settings.
The new “Nudging” is a text notification which will appear next to the subject of an email, and it will show a user when the email was received and ask the user that if he/she wants to reply. And the notification will only appear on the emails which Google thinks need your attention, and not the spams.
Moreover, the new feature will also dig into Sent folder of the user and find emails that someone else didn’t reply to, and remind the user to follow up with them. Speaking about the availability of the feature, the company says that the rollout will take upto three days.
