The search engine giant Google is finally rolling out the highly exciting Google AI search feature outside the United States and the same is the Search Generative Experience (SGE). Google is bringing the same to India and Japan.
It was originally showcased at the I/O Developer conference, and the same is changing the concept of the traditional search into a more conversational interaction. You guys can simply ask questions to Google and the platform will be offering AI-crafted responses, which will be similar to chatting with an AI bot.
The feature is supporting Japanese, English, and Hindi and it will enable you to ask questions using voice commands as well. It also features the direct link to sources and you can able to access the original web pages that the AI uses for its answers. You can find the links by simply clicking an arrow icon next to the AI’s response.
It is also revealing that the younger demographic, particularly those aged 18-24, are liking the new searching approach as they are not asking questions that are not longer, full-sentence interactions, a shift from the conventional keyword-based searches.
The search engine giant is also testing advertisements within the AI chat responses and that means the company is targetting to monetize this new digital interaction space as well. You guys can experience the new AI searching experience via the Search Labs section on the Google app and Chrome desktop.
