Just 2 days ago Google released the 2nd Beta version of Android 7.1.2 to the eligible devices. Now Google suddenly announced the developer preview of Android O. Yes finally the Android O is official. So what’s the eligibility and new features of Android O ? Let’s find out.
As of now Google hasn’t revealed the version number but it is most likely to be Android 8.0 . There are some new features like Background Limits, Notification Channels, Autofill API, Picture-in-Picture and Adaptive Icons. As this is the 1st developer preview of Android O, these features are in testing situation and some of them might be skipped before Google I/O 2017 also new features will be added in the future developer previews. Also as this is on very early stage of Android O developer preview, there will be a lot of instability and bugs. So install this at your own risk.
