The mountain view Google announced the driving mode for Google Maps last year at the Google Developer Conference and it was believed to be rolled out soon after some testing and the feature is meant to replace Android Auto App. Well, now the feature is spotted on Android devices but there is no official confirmation about the rolling out.
According to the guys at XDA Developers, the new user interface of the Maps is spotted on different Android devices. In the ‘Navigation Settings’ of Google Maps, the ‘Google Assistant settings’ updated with ‘Manage driving mode’. When you tap on the option it will bring a new driving mode settings page for Google Assistant.
Having said that the voice prompt is not working on the Android devices and it seems that the company is testing and the same will be rolled out officially very soon.
